1.Introduction
The VPFlowScope M can use 2 ways of assigning an IP address for a Wi-Fi network:
DHCP: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is a protocol for assigning dynamic IP addresses to devices on networks. With dynamic addressing, a device can have a different IP address every time it connects to the network. In some systems, the device’s IP address can even change while it is still connected.
Static IP: You can enter your own IP address. Note that this needs to match with the IP range of your Wi-Fi network (the first 7 numbers of your IP address). An IP address can be changed via VPStudio 2 (Chapter C1.2).

2.1 Set the IP address of your PC
In order to establish a connection to VPInstruments devices you have to change the IP address of your PC so that the devices are in the same range.
