The VPFlowScope M can use 2 ways of assigning an IP address for a Wi-Fi network:
DHCP: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is a protocol for assigning dynamic IP addresses to devices on networks. With dynamic addressing, a device can have a different IP address every time it connects to the network. In some systems, the device’s IP address can even change while it is still connected.
Static IP: You can enter your own IP address. Note that this needs to match with the IP range of your Wi-Fi network (the first 7 numbers of your IP address).
An IP address can be changed via VPStudio 2 (Chapter C1.2) and the Internal Web Server. (Chapter C1.3)
